I turned 30 this year and surprisingly, my wardrobe changed before I did…
Officially into my ‘I know exactly what I want to wear’ and not ‘everything should be beige’ phase. The millennial in me turned ‘thirty and thriving’ this year and somewhere between all my endless plans and adulting, I found my way to keep up with my style. Not just for special occasions or travel but for my everyday errands, coffee runs, work and everything in between. And honestly, this might be the wisest decision 30 year old me has made.
Who blindly follows trends anymore? Because I certainly don’t! These days, I am more into how a fabric feels on my skin, the little details, the silhouette and whether it would have made it to my Pinterest board in the middle of the night (Yes, I just can’t do without Pinterest).
So, here is a little peek into my current favourites that I absolutely adore.
Abigail Embroidered Dress
If ever I have to choose the most flattering dress in my wardrobe, it has to be the Abigail Embroidered Dress. All I have to do is to style it as per the occasion and voila! there you go… and the compliments keep coming in every time I wear it.
Lara Embroidered Shirt & Pants
With 97 unread messages, when I am trying to have my life together and Lara Embroidered Shirt & Pants never disappoints. Note it! Day-in, day-out, no matter the occasion, it goes with everything.
Rachel Embellished Shirt
For the 9-5 diva in me who has dinner plans right after work, it is always the Rachel Embellished Shirt. I am in my 30s and my outfit choices have evolved drastically because now who would even think of changing outfits between work and drinks?
Laila Embroidered Dress
No big plans, no occasion, no brunches, no dinners yet you got those ‘I deserve to dress up my best self today’ days. Laila Embroidered dress is specially for these days because sometimes, an outfit is the occasion!
Jane Denim Dress
Jane Denim Dress channels my vacation mode perfectly. From effortless dressing, endless coffee runs to exploring all the places until it's over 20,000 steps for the day, it has to be this dress all along. #IYKYK
And honestly, now I think maybe this is what your 30s actually do to your wardrobe. I won’t lie, I love it even more when you stop choosing outfits for the person you want yourself to be instead start dressing up for yourself.
